My name is Turumakina Duley born in 1972 in a small town on the North Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand, now living on the Gold Coast of Queensland Australia since 2009 with my beautiful Wife Ify-Refini and 3 of our 8 children. We own a private at-home tattoo studio that specializes in traditional and contemporary Maori tattoos called Ta Moko, and Mandela, sacred geometry-based tattoo.

I have been practicing the art form of Moko since 1993, and have been privileged and blessed to be under the tutelage of Mark Kopua of Uawa since 1999. My art form is heavily based around Maatauranga Maori - Maori ancient knowledge and is ceremonial in nature and practice. For me, moko is the journey of self-discovery, a symbol of wairua (spirit), mana (authority), whakapapa (genealogy), and Mauri - life force

My digital and Canvas art is also based around the cultural knowledge and observations of the Maori worldview.

My Collection consists of 15 pieces.

Te Ao Maori - The World of the Maori

This collection grants a window into the Maori world through the visions of Turumakina Duley. Most of the collection is based around Ancient Maori understandings of creation, beginning in the Po - the eons of Darkness's through to a Manifestational Creative Source, in the highest Heaven, and then following the genealogical lines of descent down to us today.
