Asya Haroutunian is Swiss-Armenian self-taught painter, who was born in 1980 Yerevan, Armenia. Asya graduated from Webster University Geneva, Switzerland with an Outstanding MBA Student Award and has over 18 years of experience in Corporate Finance. In 2016 she started painting as a hobby, but very soon painting became an integral part of her life. In 2020 she had her first solo exhibition “Reflections”, which she dedicated to her late mum's 70th anniversary. During the second lockdown, she began a series of acrylic pouring paintings. The acrylic pouring technique has a lot of mystery in it. The process from the moment of pouring till the paint gets dry resembles “Wonderland”, one sees the transformation which to some extent is out of his/her control.
